Grace arrives today with a teenager and a baby, accompanied by two dogs and a husband. Don't know what time. She usually just shows up on the doorstep. Bobby and three kids under nine arrive tomorrow. Not sure of the time he is going to arrive either. Will my life ever return to normal? I am beginning to think it never will. So that is six adults, two teens and four kids under nine, plus five dogs and three cats. Now this will be an experience and should give me another story or two. I know everyone will behave, the seven year old tells them they can't stress Grandma out because she's sick.
My menu is all planned. If someone doesn't like it don't eat it. I do know what kids are like. "Oh, I see an onion. I can't eat that." Yes, I am all ready, back up meal is canned ravolis. How's that. One step ahead of them. It's that or the words, "Then starve." I use to tell the kids that all the time. In five minutes they were hungry enough to eat what I put on the table. See things haven't changed, just the kids you are telling it too. This is fun...
