Living in My House Isn't Always Easy: Day to day life is sometimes a challenge. I share some unbelievable but true stories about family life. I do hope everyone that stops here enjoys my day to day blogs that have started my second book, as much as I enjoy writing them. This is fun! One thing I have learned about Blogging is - you must take care of it, feed it daily and readers will visit. I feed my Blog about every day, I know I haven't missed many days.

Cooking with a partner!
We found some recipes tat Bob's Mother wrote and wanted to try them again. Bob does like to help if he isn't working. I got all ingredients ready for the massive mixing project. He cracked the eggs and cut the cheese in cubes while I mixed the eggs well. After adding some ingredients it was time to start adding the flour, a cup at a time. I gave the mixer to Bob. "Now keep the mixer in the bowl." He has a tendency of lifting it out of the bowl at all angles, slopping everything around. I kept a good eye on him. After adding most of the flour it was time to give up the mixer and get the bigger bowl. This is almost done. Now he is the only one that can stir this now by hand. The dough gets thick. Then it says to continue stirring for 5 extra minutes. Enough is enough already! We separated the dough into two small containers and one large one. It says to oil saran wrap and place on the top. I didn't do that last time and had a mess. Oh, yes, I had the same mess even though I oiled the saran wrap. Now we wait till it rises, which really took a long time today. Time for the oven, finally! Smell the air, Torta, home made. It is an Italian Cheese Bread. Oh so good. The timers went off. Let it cool, don't touch it. They are trying to get it as it comes out of the oven. I made them wait five minutes before I relented and let them cut it. Oh so good. They are both silent as they stuff their mouths with Torta. Hey, wait! Where's mine?.....
